Daveigh Chase is an American actress, singer, and model. She played Samara in several of The Ring films and Lilo Pelekai in the Lilo & Stitch franchise. She has also been billed as Daveigh Elizabeth Chase.

Daveigh’s paternal grandfather was Jerry Hart Schwallier (the son of John W. Schwallier, Jr. and Anna Bell/Belle Thurman). Jerry was born in Kentucky. John was born in Kentucky, the son of John Chevelier Schwallier, who was born in France, and of Catherine/Katherine B. Koehler/Koewler, who was an ethnic German from Alsace, France. Anna was born in Kentucky, the daughter of Henry Clay/Clayton Thurman and Cora Angeline/Angelina Hogg.
